I just wanted to mention again what an incredible tour this was.
Your company looked after every little detail and I couldn’t have felt more attended to.
Gueraini and Mohamed met me at the airport and gave an excellent tour.
It was just like spending the day with old friends. While we wandered around Algiers, taking in the sites Gueraini filled me in on the incredible history.
In the Sahara Sala, Osing and Medi picked me up at the airport and looked after every little detail until my return flight.
Driving, guiding, cooking setting up the camp. They didn’t mind if I tried to help. But I doubt I contributed much.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner by Osing were the best. Even my vegan diet wasn’t a problem for him.
Sala, my guide was a energetic, knowledgeable young man. And we talked as much about the Sahara as we did about life in general.
Medi was our driver and it was quite obvious that he knew what he was doing when driving over the many varied surfaces in the Sahara.
These guys really enjoyed their work. It was a pleasure to be with them for my introduction to the Sahara.
Algeria the country doesn’t disappoint, but Algeria the people is far and away the highlight.
