Arrival - Algiers
If you have an earlier arrival, your guide will take you on an afternoon tour of the city, which may include site visits to the Place des Martyrs (17th century El Djedid Mosque), Bastion 23, and the Grande Poste.

Algiers - Tipaza - Tomb of the Christian - Algiers

Tomb of the Christian
After breakfast, you will depart for the UNESCO World Heritage Roman site of Tipaza. This is arguably one of the most picturesque archaeological sites in the country. Located beside the clear Mediterranean Sea and mountains, Tipaza was originally founded by the Phoenicians and later became an important commercial center for the Romans. Explore the archeological site, which includes the largest basilica in North Africa and the Basilica of St Salsa, who was a local martyr in the 4th century. Visit the small museum before traveling back to Algiers.
On the way, stop at the tomb like structure, the Tombeau de la Chrétienne (royal mausoleum of Mauritania).
Take an evening flight to Constantine and upon arrival transfer to your hotel for night.

Roman arch at Tiddis archeological site
After breakfast, you will travel south to the hillside site of Tiddis and take a guided tour. At the entrance to the site, you will walk through the triumphal arch and pass by the sanctuary of Mithras. Your tour guide will point out the Christian basilica and the Roman houses.
Later in the afternoon, travel to Constantine for a city tour. Located above the Rhumel Gorge, Constantine has a view that is sure to impress. Some of the sites you will visit may include the museum of Cirta, the suspension bridges, the Kasbah, and Palace of Ahmed Bey.

Djanet - Tadrart - D'in-Djarena
Dinner and camping will be in the canyon of D’In-Djarena, which is surrounded by dunes. This will be your first night under Saharan stars.

Continue through Tadrart along El Biredj along the wide desert canyon and valley to the beautiful orange dunes found at Moul el Naga.

Return to Djanet for lunch and take time to explore the unforgettable colourful market and taste the local dates. Do not forget to purchase a cheche (Touareg turban), before returning back to Algiers.
